just wanted to say thanks again to everyone in los angeles, vancouver, and toronto who came to my shows in the past week
i had such a fun trip and am looking forward to returning home (although i will miss sleeping in real size beds once i'm back home in my twin bed with a mattress that feels like an x-ray pad)
i am sitting in the toronto airport (where i arrived about 3.5 hours before my flight), and my back hurts and i have to pee really bad, but i don't want to get up for fear of losing the outlet i am sitting next to on the floor (powering the very laptop that is bringing you this thrilling post)
farewell canada, and hope to see you again soon!
xojay
p.s. i think i lost about 5 lbs. on this trip -- i'd say that's progress. the best part of traveling (besides the queen- & king-sized beds) is definitely the weight loss. worst part? rental cars.

haha, yeah rental cars.. and creepy parking lots right? lol
anyways i wasnt much of a fan, but my friend was after they saw you on short bus, the hair you have now i think works much better for you with your depressing songs.. and the other one ive seen.. like the only other one with the green shirt.. or was it aqua? pft i dont know my colors and i call myself an artist.. wait..no ANYWAYS my point is i liked you live, and your ramblings and moobs.. although thats prolly not appropriate to say.. :/ But hey kudos for driving.. downtown toronto isnt as bad as new york, but its up there.. so hope you didnt nearly die here. :) anyways. i guess im kinda a fan now, but thats cuz you were real and didnt fake out.. well if you do get rich, i hope as im sure as many fans or whoever say, you dont get lost in the glory, but if you do pft im sure you deserve after all the hard work youre doing. :D
okay long random comment over. now i owe my friend 15 bucks for last nights show.. well at least your ticket was cheap, but hope ya do good enough where ppl have to sell their kidneys to get a spot to watch your show!
Jay, the Toronto show was amazing! Your voice and lyrics (and your personality) come across so much stronger live than they do on YouTube etc.... and you seemed less neurotic, too ;-) Thanks for a great time - my bf and I will be there at every show we can make it to.
Great show last night Jay! Hope to see you in Toronot again soon~
Your Toronto show was lovely and you are just as handsome and charming in person as you are on the big screen. Of all my movie boyfriends, I'm glad you're the one I met in real life.
I rewatched Shortbus in a festival here in Rio de janeiro today... you´re so fuckin´ beautiful, I nearly died.
Oh, your songs are beautiful too ;P
Pedro from Brazil
I thought your show in Toronto was absolutely amazing. I've been squeeing to my friends ever since Thursday night. Haha. Walking two and a half kilometers (1.55 miles, since you don't know what a kilometer is, lol) was totally worth it. Hope to see you back here soon, or, even better, in London, Ontario, where I'm from. :) I promise to bring more friends next time. hehe.
we have a name now....I'm a nugget
PS I am also one of Dame Edna's Possums so it's good to have a name and to belong
awesome show in T.O. hope to see you back here real soon.
Hey Jay!
Listen I'm getting concerned about your health. I mean you're skinny as it is and you're still reducing weight. That is not healthy. Take care of yourself.
darn. i should have checked this sooner.
i missed the supermarket show.
i think you're kind of awesome.
Jay,
When you come to Calgary, I'll be the first in line to get a ticket.
Wish I could have seen you in Van or Toronto..
Cheers.
Hey Jay,
When will you have more music on iTunes? Can wait to download a full album.
Bummed I missed you London. Come back!
Oops... meant I CAN'T wait to download a whole album!
Missed your show in Toronto, wished I was of age and that your show wasn't sold out.
Come back next year so more Canadians can appreciate your music.
So glad I saw the show in Toronto. You're a great performer, which for some reason I didn't expect, though I've always loved your song writing and guitar playing.
Thanks for the autograph. My seven-year old boy Mehmo was so charmed by the autograph, as were his dads.
BTW-- I have to ask-- Are you a Joanie Mitchell fan, and if so, why didn't you mention her? Some of your songs almost sound like you are quoting her.
OMG you drive ??? that is so sexy !
You always forget Montreal! Why!? Why Jay ? Why!!!???
