Adorable little film, and you're right, they're precious.
My first kiss was in first grade. Had a crush on a boy I didn't think knew I existed. Somehow because our moms knew each other I ended up getting sent to his house one day after school. We were playing hide and seek in their basement playroom. I found him in one of those playhouses. We sat there giggling, then all of a sudden he just kissed me. I was surprised but thrilled. We kissed a few more times -- no tongue but really nice sweet kisses -- then got scared that his mom would find us, so we stopped and went upstairs. I don't remember ever doing it with him again, but I don't know why. And that was it for kissing until three or four years later.
I'm sorry your first kiss sucked Jay. I trust they've improved significantly since then though, and that's the really important thing!
Thanks for sharing this adorable vid.
Oh, and by the way, as for this:
"i wish i were one of these kids, they're all so adorable"
yes they are, but so are you!
omg. i hate you for posting this. hahaha my first kiss was absolutely miserable. the kid caught me completely off guard and almost broke my nose. i think he was trying to do one of those passionate spur of the moment things, but he could have aimed a bit better. i'm sorry that i keep being so cynical in my responses to your entries. haha
"i can remember it being on a really cold sort of wintery day with really thick storm clouds overhead. i was huddled in a sort of hideout made out of leaves and bushes. and suddenly i was just alone with this girl and it was sort of at the age where talking with a girl is a little bit awkward. and then it sort of happened...my first kiss. i felt the pangs of puppy love for the first time."
... why couldn't he have been my first kiss. or my next kiss. seriously. i'm moving to the uk.
my 10,086-10,094th kisses were with Jay
I was more captured by the song that was playing in the background...does anyone know the title and artist?
Hey Jay; damned !!! A friend of mine told me about your escape in Paris. He told me, you have to see this man !! Well, you know in Europe we are a bit retarded and I didn't know shortbus or anything else about you. I should have been in NYC for your concert at Bowery Ballroom. Grrr I won't work in NYC before spring... just hope to see you singing soon, now I know you, youtube videos aren't enough. Bye See ya.
Jay, just to know that you have a fan in Brazil... Your songs are amasing. And, yeah, I saw Shortbus (unfortunatly I had to download the movie because it will never be on DVD here), well, It became one of my ten favourites movies.
I would love to see your show, but I know that this is almost impossible. Well, What can I do?
Did you record any cd? If it was (or is?) too expensive, I would like to buy.
See u soon.
best wishes.

Oh, my first kiss... It's a sad story.
- Ehem...
I was 13 years old and a friend of mine introduced me to this younger boy (I think he was 11) who was desperately seeking a boyfriend, and since I found him really cute I thought 'why not?'.
I mean, I really wanted a boyfriend too and he seemed to like me.
Anyway, we talked about many things and then I was shocked to listen how experienced he was and by some lapsus brutus I told him that I had never been kissed. So he told me he was going to give me my first kiss. He came closer and engaged my lips, I couldn't believe what was happening; I kept my eyes open in shock as his lips met mine and his tongue played with mine.
And then, the embarrassing part, I got a boner... He noticed it, and teased me about it.
I had such a rush of mixed feelings I felt like fainting.
Then we walked to his school, and he gave me my second, third and fourth kiss. I was so angry at him that I bit his lips.
Then he said 'It was nice to meet you'.
I honestly don't remember much afterwards.
But then, the next day he told me he had found a boyfriend. I cried. End of the story.
*sigh*
Ok, now I'm sad.
"To the boy who should have loved me, from the boy you could have had. I promise not to send this letter, I wouldn't want you to feel bad for not opening your heart to me, for your unavailability.
I guess you're not required to like me, but did you fake it just to spite me?"
My first kiss was with a girl... it sucked.
I was 13 and it was outside a cinema (most people kisses INSIDE of them, i was so out of place...)
That political-social MUST of boys kissing girls is so wrong.
It felt so... wrong.
Well, now i'm 20 and happy with my mouth and body being far away from things they don't feel things for.
Well, that was a story from a g-boy from Chile, my brother loves
you and well, here i am, you just can't be loved :*
Well, I suppose the most important thing about the first kiss is that you dare to do it... Of course, the first time I kissed someone, it was not exactly what I had in mind but now... Oh well, glad I began doing it ^^
Oh, and I agree with Suzie : I'm sure you've improved since then !
at 5:29am are you still up or just getting up?
hey jay, this is Rachel. i made that video, and i just found your blog from all the hits i saw i was getting from this address. i'm really glad you liked it! and i'm loving reading all the responses people are giving about their first kisses, too! i just wanted to thank you for posting this and making me smile :]
ps. to Darran, if you're asking about the first song, it's my very good friend sarah dooley. The song is called parking lot romances, and her myspace is http://www.myspace.com/sarahdooleymusic. me and her are also working on a webseries (she's a hilarious actor, i'm doing the directing/filming/editing) at youtube.com/andsarah.
the song is Parking Lot Romances by Sarah Dooley and Kevin MacLeod
i was thirteen and it was a boy, which now i don't count, because i don't really kiss them anymore.
but it was still my first.
we were playing truth or dare and i was supposed to lick whipped cream off of his mouth. but i was scared and kept giggling.
he grabbed the bottle of whipped cream and just basically stuck his tongue down my throat.
i pushed him away and got so embarrassed that i ran out of the room and locked myself in the bathroom with some of my friends. we all talked about how gross it was.
and i, to this day, can imagine how grossed out i felt to have someone's slimy tongue in my mouth.
funny, 'cause now making out is, like, my favourite thing ever.
