It is a perfect reference for this Sarah Palin world. No need for pesky facts and true research to get in the way, just let people define and describe things and label it as fact. We will have the pretense of knowing things without the bother of actual education and study.
I think you are overreacting. It's nothing compared to what you will have to endure once you get really famous. How will you react to real lies and evil gossip if you freak out when true facts are not presented exactly the way you like? Someone who is capable to write such great songs shouldn't stumble over this irrelevant issue.
Haha :) I see your point that wikipedia is somewhat inaccurate and a little skewed...but at the same time I don't think it was designed to be the website for the best source of information. I look at it more of as tool for linking different ideas, concepts, facts, studies, and forms of media together. Yeah for example...The other night I was googling shit with a homosexual undertone. A wikipedia link popped up with a list of gay characters on television. Looked through that and saw a link to an article about having a same sex relationships in other forms of media. Eventually found out you can have a same sex relationship on the Sims (I was stoked to learn that two men could more or less fuck in that game)..which than lead me to a few more pages of information until stopping at the movie Shortbus. After reading the synopsis I tracked down someone who had that movie as soon as I could. It really was an amazing film. When I saw your character perform Soda Shop I fell in love with that song really quickly. Its simple but incredibly effective...yeah so than I wanted to know more about you. After migrating back to the wikipedia Shortbus page I figured out who the shit you were and proceeded to listen to quite a lot of the songs you have posted on myspace and youtube. Ha yeah, my point is that wikipedia lead me (not in the most direct way I guess) to discovering someone who has a lot of talent and who seems like a good guy.
Ha maybe its just almost 7 am and my inability to fall asleep has turned me into the official poster child of wikipedia. Either way...I don't think it should burn in hell. Its not perfection, but like everything in life it has a purpose. Ha...fo sho.
