It is irritating sometimes.. "ASTRAEUS"- people still judge us now these?? Maybe sometimes it is us who are judging people and our self too much. Chill out, see things differently. :) Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!
I agree with you, everyone is so judgmental, and quick to cast stereotypical claims, it's irritating One of my favorite motivational quotes is "'A careless word may kindle a strife';'A cruel word may wreck a life;'A timely word may level stress; A lovely word may heal and bless.'" I just wish people were much more accepting. Such a shame.
Wait a sec, wait a sec... a clarification is in order here. "Judge" is almost always used linguistically as a negation; that is, forms like "don't judge..." or "you're being judgemental," etc. It's almost never used in the opposite sense, by someone who's actively judging. If you were truly judging someone, "judge" is the last word you'd use, because of its negative connotations.
So, paradoxically, if "judge" were used less as a word, you'd have more judging, since you'd be less able to use forms like "don't judge me," whereas you'd not cut down on actual judging, since no one ever explicitly says there's judging another, even when they are.
So what did you mean? That there should be less judging in general, or just that we should stop using the word "judge"?
