i agree with that, though the ones on medication make it less felt

people who've never been depressed seem to live in a facade so how can they be sensitive if they've never been through anything? They're only condescending bc life seems easier that way. And evil bc they have no earthly clue what's going on the the inside of anyone including themselves.

unless they are so depressed they don't feel like opening their mouth.
Jay, take care of yourself more, we can never loose you.

as mulvey would put it, its all about the gaze: a depressed man will also be the happiest on the flipside

Agreed. We cut through the sh*t and talk about the real stuff.

yes and no
depressed people are great at seeing the glass half empty side of life, which is where life happens to be for the sad majority of the time.
but there is also a point where depressed ppl need to get over themselves. so i have a diagnosis, it doesn't have be become me.
when all you can talk about is your depression, then stable people make great companions.

Depressed people are honest and tell the truth, cause they have no longer something to hide from themselves or others.
When you think of life and death several times a day, you find out so much about what you think, feel and want to do! You learn to say no and find out that people really are that dumb they looks and acts like!! >.<
That will give you the strenght to do something creative, at least I did.

i understand you, jay. i'm also a depresive person, but i don't think people who isn't are insensitive. there is very sensitive people who is not depresive, the just know how to see the positive side of problems easier than us... they know about sadness, they just don't let it beat them so easier, don't shelter in sadness. I hope you don't take this bad, as an aggression, or something like that. It comes from the botom of my heart with all my love. hugs & kisses
