today i visited the world trade center site, just to see how things are going down there.
was kind of sad that 10 years later it feels like there's still nothing there.
just a big hole surrounded by a tall fence that you can't see through.
no park, no statue. not even a tree.
nothing pretty or solemn to look at or reflect upon.
it's all just so weird. you would think a whole decade later there would be some sign of life, of healing, or at least some clarity and organization as to what is happening there.
i don't understand it.

Umm when I was there in November, they'd already gotten about 50 stories of the new building completed!
Sorry to say that but I thought it was only a big work in progress place when I saw it for the first time two weeks ago. Not even saw a place of Souvenir or something like that, with the exception of the wall sculpture in front of the fire brigade near to WTC. I was much more impressed by the 9/11 room in NY fire museum. Maybe cause I'm a fireman too, and I felt sorry for all the ones who gave their lives to rescue others.
I would wager that if you returned to your old High School,it would be sad as well.
I don't think that anybody would recognize you!
